Helping my son with his bees. It’s been a long time since I worked bees. As a kid our bread and butter came from Honey, at the Howery Honey Farm 😊. Nice to see the next generation pick up a hive tool

Violin Maude, rough work done by my apprentice CNC. Now 3mm from finish, the real work begins 😊 Let the machines do what they do well, and the craftspersons finish what makes a violin great

Cleaning my shop… Evening camp fire after cleaning out my scrap wood. This item was a “Bench Copy” of the Strad Cassavetti Viola. I have the LIbrary of Congress CAT scan data, so milled a 3D replica of the F-Holes before cutting them in my viola. So much better than looking at flat paper, the real shape you can touch, rotate, see the curves. Can’t afford the real bench copy, but this is pretty close
